Where to find Mahogany community information

If you are new to Mahogany, begin with the Mahogany Homeowners Association (MHOA). Its website brings together programmes, events and information about neighbourhood facilities. The Beach Club address listed by the association is 29 Masters Park SE, Calgary.

Keep three different questions separate: what is happening, who can attend and whether you need to book. An event appearing on a calendar does not by itself establish public access to the lake or other facilities.

Find Mahogany events and activities

The MHOA annual calendar lists seasonal gatherings, including autumn and winter events. Our Mahogany events guide collects selected 2026 dates with links to the organiser. Use it to shortlist an outing, then confirm the time, admission and registration on the official event page.

For a first visit, choose an activity that fits your week and ask the organiser what a new participant should bring. If you would like to help, ask about the length and responsibilities of a volunteer shift before committing.

Check lake status before making plans

The MHOA publishes a dedicated lake-status page. Check it close to your visit, along with the association’s current access requirements. A social invitation or a listing on HeyNeibo does not replace permission to use a facility.

When arranging to meet someone, choose a clear meeting point and allow time to find the entrance. For activities with age or guest restrictions, confirm the rules for everyone in your group rather than assuming one person’s eligibility applies to all.

Make one local connection at a time

You do not need to know the whole neighbourhood to feel more at home. Return to an activity you enjoyed, introduce yourself to the organiser or invite someone you have met to the next public gathering. Keep the invitation specific and easy to decline.

HeyNeibo is an independent community project in development. This guide is not an MHOA service, membership portal or event booking page. You can join our Calgary waitlist to hear when the resident community opens; Mahogany access and launch timing have not been announced.
